Jim Parrack –
I’ve been burned by genuine leather claims before, but this one is legit. You can smell the quality the second you open the bag. The distressed brown has this cool, vintage fade around the seams that makes it look like a thrift store find, but with the benefit of a brand new viscose lining. It’s heavy enough to feel like a real protective layer but doesn’t weigh me down when I’m just walking around the mall. Definitely my new go for the fall.

The snap tab collar is the star here. It sits perfectly against the neck without digging in. I’m a slim guy and the cut is spot on, not boxy at all. If you’re on the fence, just get it.

Finally, a jacket that can hold my life. Most cafe racers are so slim that you can’t even fit a set of keys in the pocket without it looking weird. This one is a game changer. Having four outside pockets is massive, I keep my bike keys in the chest pocket and my hands in the lower ones. But the real MVP move is the two inside pockets. I can tuck my phone and my wallet away securely, and the jacket still keeps its shape. The zipper closure feels heavy duty, like it won’t give out after a few months of use. I’ve worn it for three 100 mile rides now and the full length sleeves don’t ride up my arms when I’m reaching for the handlebars. It’s functional, it’s rugged, and the brown leather just keeps getting softer every day.

Love the zipper cuffs. They give it that classic biker look but it’s subtle enough to wear to the office over a button down. The color is a bit darker than the photos, but honestly, it looks better that way.

I was expecting to have to fight this jacket for a month to get it comfy, but it’s surprisingly supple right out of the box. The inner viscose is super smooth, I hate it when jackets catch on my shirt sleeves, but this slides right on. The erect collar stays put and doesn’t flop over, which is a pet peeve of mine. It feels premium, looks expensive and I’ve already had three people ask me where I bought it.
