   I’ll be honest, I’m clumsy. Two days after this arrived, I caught the sleeve on a sharp metal door frame and I thought for sure I’d ruined it. Nope. The genuine leather is so tough that it didn’t even leave a mark, if anything, it just added to the distressed brown look. The two chest pockets are actually deep enough to hold a modern smartphone, which is a rare find. It’s rugged, it’s real and it doesn’t feel like those fast fashion jackets that fall apart if you look at them wrong.

   Finally, a jacket that doesn’t smell like chemicals The first thing you notice is that rich, earthy leather scent. None of that weird plastic smell. The classic style collar looks great with a hoodie underneath and the button cuffs give it a nice, finished look. If you’re on the fence about the color, it’s a beautiful, dark coffee brown. Best purchase I’ve made this year.

   I bought this for my morning bike commute and it’s been a game changer. The full length sleeves stay put even when I’m reaching for the handlebars and the soft viscose lining makes it easy to slide off once I get to the office. I’m a huge fan of the two inner pockets, one for my wallet and one for my transit card. It’s got that perfect balance of I just stepped off a motorcycle and I’m ready for a business casual meeting.

   I’m a pretty skinny guy and I was worried this would look like a tent on me. But the cut is surprisingly tapered! It gives me some nice bulk in the shoulders without being boxy at the waist. The zipper closure is super smooth (no snagging!) and the distressed finish gives it that, I’ve owned this for a decade vibe without the actual decade of wear and tear. It felt a little stiff for the first day, but it’s already molding to my body perfectly. Definitely makes me look cooler than I actually am.

   I bought this for my husband who usually hates fancy clothes. He loves this because it feels functional. He’s always losing his keys, so having four pockets on the outside is perfect for him. The distressed brown color hides the dirt well and he says the viscose lining is breathable enough that he doesn’t get sweaty when we’re out shopping. It looks expensive, feels durable and most importantly, he actually wants to wear it every time we leave the house.
