Been wearing this for about two weeks now. It's tough enough to handle daily wear but light enough that you don't feel weighed down. The fleece hood adds just enough warmth around the neck for cooler evenings. It’s easily become my favorite jacket.
Incredibly soft leather right out of the box. The rounded cuffs hit exactly at the wrist and the fit is true to size.
That detachable fleece hood changes the whole look. Zipping it off leaves you with a really clean, classic leather jacket for a nice dinner. Put it back on, and it’s instantly a laid back, casual piece for the weekend. The zippers are smooth and don't catch at all.
I took a chance on this brown jacket because I wanted a break from my usual black outerwear, and it paid off. The waxed finish gives the leather a really nice depth, and it doesn't have that stiff, restricted feel, it actually moves with you. The stand up collar stays structured without poking your neck, which is a huge plus. Inside, the viscose lining is slick, making it easy to layer over hoodies or sweaters without the sleeves bunching up. The two outer pockets are plenty deep, and the interior pocket holds a wallet securely. Solid construction all around.
The weight of this is perfect. Genuine leather looks sharp and that cognac color is spot on.
