   The first thing I noticed was how plush the white shearling actually is, it’s not that thin, cheap material you see on fast fashion racks. It creates such a sharp look against the black leather, almost like a modern take on a vintage aviator jacket. I was worried the white cuffs might get in the way, but they sit perfectly at the wrist and add a nice bit of cushion. The leather itself has a great natural texture and a good bit of weight, so it feels protective but not bulky. With three pockets on the outside, I actually have a dedicated spot for my transit card, my keys and my phone without having to dig around. It’s definitely a statement piece that doesn’t sacrifice any warmth.

The zip closure is heavy duty and doesn’t catch on the lining, which is a major win. I wore it out during a windy evening and the shearling cuffs did an amazing job of sealing out the chill.Inside, the viscose lining is super slick, making it easy to layer over a thick flannel without getting stuck. I also appreciate the internal pocket, it’s the perfect size for a passport or wallet when I’m traveling. It’s got a very premium, high contrast aesthetic that earns compliments every time I wear it.
