I hate it when a jacket lining is sticky and catches on your flannel or sweater sleeves when you put it on, but the viscose inside this is slick and smooth. It slides right over whatever you're wearing. The black color has a nice matte finish that goes with everything in my closet. It’s warm enough for a breezy evening but light enough that you won't melt if you wear it indoors at a coffee shop. Definitely worth the buy.

The leather has a really nice, heavy texture to it but still feels flexible. Smells like the real deal straight out of the packaging.

Finally, a jacket with pockets you can actually use. Most leather jackets give you tiny zippered slots, but the two chest flap pockets on this are big enough for a pack of gum or a cardholder and the lower side pockets are perfectly placed to just rest your hands. Inside, the single pocket is deep enough that my phone doesn't feel like it’s about to slide out every time I lean forward. The button style cuffs are another huge plus; I like to unbutton them and roll the sleeves up a tiny bit when it gets warmer, and the leather is soft enough to let me do that without fighting it. It’s a very practical, everyday piece.

The shirt style collar on this is perfect. It lays completely flat and stays put, unlike some leather collars that always try to poke you in the neck. Super clean look.
