   As someone who’s owned several windbreakers, the cotton polyester blend here is a massive upgrade. It doesn’t have that cheap, shiny look; instead, it has a sophisticated matte texture that feels much more durable. It’s surprisingly wind resistant for being so lightweight, making it my new favorite for weekend morning drives.

   The inner viscose lining is what really sets this apart from standard sport tek gear. Usually, pullovers feel sticky against your arms if you’re just wearing a shirt, but this lining is incredibly smooth and stays cool. The stitching around the half-zip and the hood is very clean, no loose threads or bunching at the seams.

   I’m really impressed by the pocket configuration on this piece. You get three outside pockets, which is rare for a packable anorak, and they are positioned perfectly so they don’t look bulky when full. The internal pocket is the ideal, secure spot for a smartphone. The half pullover zipper is high-grade and glides effortlessly.

   The hooded collar on this anorak is well engineered, it stays structured and doesn’t collapse against your neck like cheaper versions. I also appreciate the tension in the elastic cuffs, they’re firm enough to keep the sleeves up if you’re working, but they don’t leave marks on your wrists. It’s a very sharp, streamlined silhouette.

   After comparing a few different sites, the craftsmanship on this navy anorak really stood out. The color is a rich, deep navy that hasn’t faded after a couple of washes. It fits true to size with just enough room for a light layer underneath. If you’re looking for that professional, Mercedes-inspired look for the outdoors, this is definitely the one to get.
