I love how the knit ribbing on the collar and cuffs matches the tan color perfectly. It feels like a high end streetwear piece but stays classic.
This has officially become my favorite travel jacket. The single internal pocket is deep enough to hold a boarding pass and passport right against my chest, making security lines a breeze. Because it’s real suede, it breathes incredibly well, so I didn't get that sticky, stuffy feeling while sitting on a cramped two-hour flight. Plus, it folds flat into an overhead bin without creasing up like a standard leather jacket would.
My biggest worry with buying a tan suede jacket was that it would act like a giant lint magnet, especially since I own a golden retriever. Surprisingly, the nap on this suede is cut so cleanly that pet hair and lint brush right off with just a quick swipe of my hand. The tan color has this beautiful matte depth to it that absorbs light rather than reflecting it, giving it a really premium, understated look. The zipper is stitched with a slight leather border behind it, which is brilliant because it prevents the metal teeth from ever catching on the delicate suede or the smooth inner lining. It’s definitely a piece you have to take care of, but the quality makes it completely worth it.
The ribbed waistband has the perfect amount of give. When you sit down or drive, the jacket naturally adjusts instead of riding up to your chest.
I've been wearing this heavily for about three weeks now and the suede is starting to get these really cool, subtle character marks around the elbows where it creases. It’s breaking in beautifully and getting softer by the day. The two outside pockets are completely flush with the seams, so when you don't have your hands in them, they completely disappear into the clean design of the bomber.
