   Buster Keaton –

   This jacket is the definition of a classic. The combination of the wool body and the leather sleeves gives it that heavy, authentic varsity feel that you just don’t get with synthetic materials. The black and red colorway is iconic, it’s bold, sharp and looks even better in person. Definitely worth the investment if you’re a fan of Jordan brand history.

   I was worried the leather might be stiff, but it’s actually really supple. The soft viscose lining on the inside makes it feel great even over a short-sleeve tee.

   I love the hidden snap tab button closure. It gives the front of the jacket such a clean, uninterrupted look compared to standard varsity jackets where the buttons are popping out. The rib knitted collar and cuffs are thick and hold their shape well, so it doesn’t look stretched out after a few wears. It’s got a nice weight to it without being bulky.

   Having two outside pockets for my hands and an inside pocket for my phone is exactly what I need. The fit is solid and the sleeves are the perfect length.

   This Awake NY collab is on fire. The transition between the wool and leather is seamless and the quality of the stitching is top-notch. It fits exactly how a letterman should, slightly roomy but still structured. The full length sleeves have a great taper and the rib knit details keep the cold out. It’s easily the coolest thing in my closet right now.
