Love the matte black finish on this, it doesn't have that cheap, shiny look at all. The shirt-style collar stays flat and doesn't poke me in the jawline when I turn my head, which happens with a lot of heavy leather jackets. It has a great mid-weight feel that cuts the wind perfectly on a breezy evening but doesn't feel suffocatingly heavy. Got two compliments on the silhouette the very first day I wore it out.

The inside lining is so smooth and slick, it slides right on without catching on fabric. Plus, having a proper internal pocket for my lip gloss and cardholder is a huge win.

A lot of leather jackets have zippers that dig into you when you sit down, but the button up front on this trucker style makes it so much easier to wear while driving or sitting at a coffee shop. The four outside pockets are actually useful, the lower pockets are positioned at a really natural angle to slide your hands into when it gets chilly. The buttons are securely attached and don't make that annoying metallic rattling sound when you're walking around.

Finally, a leather jacket that feels casual! The slouchy drop shoulder style looks so effortless just thrown over a plain grey hoodie.

I am absolutely obsessed with the drop shoulder cut on this jacket. Usually, leather trucker jackets can look super stiff and boxy, making you look like you borrowed a guy's jacket, but the slouchy shoulders on this give it the perfect effortless, oversized look while still fitting properly everywhere else. The leather is surprisingly soft right out of the box, no awkward squeaking or stiffness when I move my arms. I wore it out last night over a chunky knit sweater and the armholes had plenty of room without bunching up my sleeves. It hits right around the hips, so it looks incredibly cool paired with high waisted jeans and boots. Definitely my new favorite daily piece.
