I was looking for a classic flight jacket that wasn't the usual brown or black and this burgundy suede is stunning. It’s a rich, dark maroon color that looks incredibly premium in person. The absolute best part is the shearling collar, it is incredibly soft against your neck and keeps you completely warm without needing to wear a scarf. The fit is just right; it has that slightly relaxed, roomy cut through the chest that flight jackets are known for, but the rib knitted waistband keeps it tidy at the bottom. It feels like a high end luxury piece but has a very rugged, durable build.

Having four outside pockets on a flight jacket is a total game changer. The two chest pockets are great for slipping a phone or cardholder into quickly, while the lower pockets are perfect for your hands. The inside viscose lining is slick and makes it effortless to layer this over a thick wool sweater without the fabric catching or dragging.

This jacket is surprisingly warm. The combination of the real suede outer layer and the shearling collar blocks out a freezing wind perfectly. The main front zipper is heavy duty and pulls up smoothly without snagging on the inner lining. I've already worn it out to a couple of winter bonfires and got compliments from everyone. Definitely glad I purchased it.

The suede is incredibly soft with a really nice, clean nap. I used a protectant spray on it right away, and it handles daily wear beautifully without getting marked up.
