I’ve always struggled with bombers being too poofy at the waist, but the ribbed elastic hem on this one keeps the silhouette nice and clean. The genuine leather is surprisingly supple, and the quilted shoulder detail adds some nice structure to my frame, making me look a bit broader, which I don’t mind! I’m also a big fan of storage. The first thing I noticed when I put this on was the viscose lining. It’s so smooth that the jacket just slides right on over a long sleeve tee or a sweater without any annoying friction. The rib-knitted cuffs are snug but not tight, so they do a great job of keeping the wind out of my sleeves. It’s warm enough for a chilly night but light enough to wear inside a mall or a bar without sweating.
