   Robin Guiver –

   I was worried the color might be too light or too dark, but it’s a perfect mid grey that looks really high end. The suede leather is incredibly soft, it has that premium velvet like feel you only get with the real thing. I’ve worn it out in some pretty chilly wind and the belted collar does a fantastic job of keeping my neck warm. It’s definitely my most complimented jacket.

   I love the shearling style cuffs, they give the jacket a unique look that sets it apart from a standard leather coat. It’s very warm but surprisingly breathable. The side waist pockets are deep enough for my hands and my phone, which is a big win for me.

   Usually, the zipper is the first thing to break on these jackets, but this one is chunky and feels very durable. The shearling lining inside is thick and doesn’t shed on my clothes. It’s a bit of a heavier jacket, which I like because it feels substantial and expensive. The inside pocket is also perfectly placed for a passport or wallet.

   Honestly, the suede on this is way thicker than I expected, it feels really high end. When I first pulled it on, the elbows felt a bit stiff, but after wearing it for a full day, it’s already loosened up and feels great now. Definitely grab a suede brush to keep the grey looking clean, though. It’s a really well made piece and the fit is exactly what I was hoping for.

   I’ve had shearling jackets before that made me look like a giant marshmallow, but the cut on this is very sleek. It has a nice shape through the torso. The contrast of the grey suede with the white shearling trim is stunning. If you want something that bridges the gap between rugged and classy, this is it.
