   I wasn’t sure if the yellow would be too much, but it’s actually a really cool shade that pops against the snow. The polyester fabric feels durable and doesn’t get that crinkly loud sound that some cheaper jackets have. Plus, the hooded collar is deep enough to actually cover your head when it’s windy.

   The soft viscose lining is probably my favorite part. It’s way more comfortable than the mesh linings you usually find in athletic gear.

   I wore this out on a long hike and it was perfect. The full length sleeves give you plenty of room to move and the velcro cuffs are great because you can adjust them depending on if you’re wearing a watch or big gloves. The snap over zipper front kept me totally warm even when the wind started picking up.

   The two outside pockets are at a perfect height for resting your hands. I also like having that secure inside pocket for my phone so the battery doesn’t die in the cold. It’s a very well thought out design.

   It’s a straightforward, high-quality jacket. It fits true to size and the color is exactly like the photos. It’s lightweight enough that I don’t feel weighed down, but the construction feels solid enough to last a few winters. I was really happy with the purchase.
