Real leather cafe racer jacket with quilted paneling that adds depth to an already sharp moto silhouette. I love that the four front pockets use flat, low profile zippers. Even when all four pockets are packed with my daily carry stuff, the jacket keeps its slim, stream lined cafe racer silhouette instead of puffing out. The viscose lining goes all the way down through the sleeves, so it doesn't bunch up your shirt cuffs when you're pulling the jacket off in a hurry. Truly a well thought out design.
Got caught in a sudden downpour on Tuesday. The leather shed the water surprisingly well and dried out overnight without getting stiff or water-stained.
If you like wearing chunky dive watches, this jacket is a game changer. The combination of the zipper and the snap tab on the cuffs means you can widen the sleeve slightly to clear your watch face without having to leave the whole cuff flapping open. The stitching along the quilted sections is tight with zero loose threads anywhere.
The inside pocket is placed slightly lower down than usual, which is great because my heavy wallet doesn't create an awkward bulge right over my chest.
One of my biggest pet peeves with biker jackets is when the zippers rattle loudly while you walk, but the hardware on this is incredibly solid and quiet. The quilted shoulders have this subtle, matte texture that doesn't look overly flashy in direct sunlight. I was also worried the stand-up collar might push against the bottom of my full-face helmet when riding, but it sits low enough to give me full head movement without any bunching. The leather has that perfect mid-weight feel, heavy enough to give you confidence if you take a spill, but flexible enough that you don't feel like you're wearing a suit of armor when walking through a grocery store.
