The brown satin has a really deep, rich tone that looks much better than a standard flat brown. It feels thick and high quality, not like those thin windbreakers that tear easily. The zipper is heavy duty and slides up and down without catching on the inner fabric. I also like that the collar doesn’t lose its shape or start sagging after a long day of moving around.

The rib knitted cuffs are nice and tight, so the sleeves stay exactly where they should. The fit is solid, it sits right at the waist and doesn’t look too puffy in the arms.

The inner lining is very smooth, which makes it easy to pull this on over a sweater without the sleeves getting stuck. I found the two front pockets are deep enough for my phone and keys and the extra pocket on the inside is a great spot for keeping a wallet safe. All the stitching around the 12th-anniversary details is very clean and stays flat against the satin.

The fabric is surprisingly tough and hasn’t picked up any snags yet. It hangs nicely on the shoulders and gives a bit of a sharper look than a regular cotton bomber.

It’s a great weight for a chilly evening and matches well with almost any pair of dark jeans.
