   I was looking for a varsity jacket that didn’t look like a cheap costume, and this is it. The maroon and white colorway is super rich, and the wool and leather combo gives it a really substantial weight. It feels like a premium piece of streetwear rather than just a basic jacket.

   The soft viscose lining on the inside is incredibly smooth. I’ve worn it over a t-shirt all day and haven’t felt itchy once.

   I really love the rib Knitted collar and cuffs, they’re thick and haven’t stretched out after a month of heavy wear. The snap-tab button closure is also surprisingly strong. My only small note is that it’s a bit heavier than I expected, but that just speaks to the quality of the wool. It’s perfect for those chilly nights when you still want to look sharp.

   It’s rare to find a varsity with a decent inside pocket, so that’s a huge plus for me to keep my wallet safe. The two outside pockets are also deep enough for a large phone.

   This jacket just screams old school cool. The full length sleeves fit exactly right at the wrist and the overall silhouette is flattering without being too tight. You can tell the stitching is high quality because the transition from the wool body to the leather sleeves is seamless. If you want a Loose Cannon look that feels authentic, this is the jacket to get.
